Waialae/Kahala Beach is just past Diamond Head about a mile and just outside of Waikiki heading east along Kahala Ave..

We'll walk up the beach about 200 yards from the Waialae Beach parking lot to our preferred spots. It's hard-packed sand most of the way and easy to walk. Only the distance would be a challenge for the mobility impaired .
 

We like to perform most ceremonies on the grass and under the shade of the trees for proper lighting on faces but, we can go on the sand nearer the water if you prefer.

Ceremony times at 9 am or 10 am are best. It's much cooler and great for photos. It's the least busy time of the day with parking not normally a problem. From then on, we suggest using a taxi, Uber, or Lyft.
